Hadley & Jake

Location: Sleepy Hollow Ski & Bike Center, Huntingdon, VT

Style: Modern, whimsical flowers, rooted in winter, a nod to spring

What we designed: Ikebana centerpieces, a whimsical bar piece, a burgundy, cream and green bridal bouquet & boutonniere.

How their experience was:

"It was absolutely perfect!! Your floral arrangements were the missing piece and everything looked stunning, I can’t stop talking about them and how perfectly you captured my vision! So many compliments from guests and locals I have given your name to"

How we exceeded expectations:

  • We noticed an opportunity to add florals to the DJ table and had brought extra bud vases in case. We created a lovely bud vase with hellebore, ranunculus

  • We gave extra flowers to the mother-of-the-bride, who used them for the gift table

Molly & Andrew

Location: Spruce Peak, Stowe, VT

Style: Classic and romantic, white with a touch of butter yellow

What we designed: Ceremony aisle pieces and urn arrangements, hanging greenery from lighting, centerpieces, sweetheart table piece, bouquets and boutonnieres.

How their experience was:

"You are absolutely incredible at what you do, thank you so much for bringing your vision passion and knowledge to our special day. Thank you for everything!!! Every detail was unbelievably gorgeous down to the last stem! We were so grateful you were a part of it [our day]"

How we exceeded expectations:

  • We used extra greenery to dress both the cake table & the seating chart

  • We repurposed all ceremony pieces to the reception space, creating a floral-forward moment

  • Although we had not originally planned to do the personal flowers, we happily added them to the contract just a few weeks out, giving Molly, Andrew and their wedding part beautiful flowers for the day.

  • We swooped in to help the groom and groomsmen pin boutonnieres right before the ceremony

Jim & George

Location: Robinson Farm in Woodstock, VT

Style: Unique and moody. A focus on foliage with lots of movement. Burgundy and purples. Unique elements like floral dog collars, rams skull pocket boutonnieres.

How their experience was:

"Flora Vita did all of the florals for my Woodstock, VT. wedding in September 2026. After a brief call, Jessica sent a detailed proposal, complete with images, detailed description and color palette that was exactly what I wanted. She paid attention to the details, incorporating all of my requests and elevated my ideas with unique flower selections and arrangement techniques I wouldn’t have thought of.
Day of, Jessica and her team brought the vision to life in a way that I didn’t imagine was possible and better than I could have expected. Everything was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite parts of the wedding.
I had several unique requests (skulls/rams head boutonniere’s/dog collars) and FloraVita made every one of them happen.
Jessica was easy and fun to work with. She clearly cares deeply about what she does and made me feel like she was as excited for our day as we were. Im so grateful we were able secure her for our date.
If you want top tier florals and excellent service, you can’t do better than Flora Vita."

How we exceeded expectations:

  • A skull bar piece was in their vision board and one of the first photos they sent over to me, but we didn't land on it as an added floral design piece. We designed and brought it anyway, knowing the unique theme of the wedding.

  • We cut the most special burgundy dahlias from our garden, specifically for their A-frame arch. Post-event we provided notes on flowers and growing tips so the grooms could add them to their garden.

Kate & Henry

Location: Inn at Grace Farm, Fairfax, VT

Style: Classic pastel romance, a display of springs most notable flowers

What we designed: Bud vases & vase centerpieces, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corner arch piece

How their experience was:

"Jess was absolutely amazing to work with! We cannot say enough great things about her! She did an incredible job with the florals for our June wedding and I honestly still cannot get over how beautiful the bouquets and arch design were. We had a day of sketchy weather with rain coming in and out and Jess very kindly offered to decorate the arch outside as well as a piece on the mantle indoors. Her florals were stunning and she was very communicative throughout the whole planning process. Anyone who gets to work with Jess is very lucky—she really is the best of the best!!"

How we exceeded expectations:

  • The forecast day of called for rain. The bride really wanted an outdoor ceremony, but realized the possibility of an indoor ceremony. We came prepared with extra mechanics, and prepared an indoor fireplace mantle piece and flowered the arch as planned, creating a perfect plan B

  • The next day, we returned to help the family pack up arrangements to be enjoyed after the wedding

What makes Flora vita one of the best & most trusted vermont wedding florists?

Our Responsiveness & Proactive Communication

  • We set a goal to respond to communication within 24 hours, but more often than not within just hours of an email, call or text. You can expect this not only upon inquiry; we turn proposals around usually within a day. You can expect lightning-fast responses throughout the planning process and of course on and leading up to your wedding day

  • We have certain milestones set in our own process where you'll receive proactive communication. Signed a contract and paid your retainer? We'll confirm receipt. We'll reach out two months before your event to confirm details. We reach out to your wedding venue, often your planner and photographer to connect, introduce ourselves and see what we can do for them.

  • This holds true for not only communication with our clients, but extends to our vendor partners and friends. We know wedding planning is involved, and that a series of decisions that you need to make can hinge on a single email response.

Our Flower Care & Selection

  • We start be selecting the best blooms for your design. We have the experience to know what's in season, what our flower farms typically grow and when those local blooms become available. We also know what wholesaler's flowers are less-than-stellar, and which match our high expectations every time. This is built through experience and detailed note-taking. We use premium blooms, always. Garden roses, dahlias, delphinium, peonies, etc. When you're working with us, rest assured that we are not going to use inexpensive filler-type flowers to save on costs. We would much rather our clients be overjoyed than potentially underwhelmed.

  • Once your flowers arrive, how we treat them really matters and is directly related to what they look like on your wedding day. We want you to see how much we care for every stem that is part of your wedding day and this means the utmost attention to detail on how they are processed and stored up until. For example, stock flower can be beautiful and fluffy, or can look squished and sad depending on how it's processed. We place our stock stems in buckets with grids, because they are not flowers that like to touch each other. This makes them look most magnificent and bloom to their fullest potential.

  • Last, when the flowers are at their peak level of bloom, they are in the cooler for as much time as possible. Our flower cooler preserves them in that perfect bloom state. Roses, for example, arrive to us closed on a Tuesday, need a day or two to open, we design with them and those arrangements go straight in to the cooler and are not removed until the morning of your event.

Attention to Detail

  • This is where we really love to shine. Any of our staff knows that on-site QA is an integral part of our process. When we arrive at your event, you'll see us unload all the flowers and you'll also see buckets of flowers. Those are flowers we intentionally order extras of so the end product you receive on your wedding day is no less than perfect. QA involves looking at every single piece - every bud vase, every centerpieces, every urn, any aisle piece - and removing and replacing any flowers that aren't, well, perfect. Flowers are perishable items, and they sometimes behave as such. Is there a sweet pea that got smushed in transit? We pull and replace it. A delphinium that broke when removing it from our truck? We have a new one to take it's place.

  • We make sure to note every conversation we have with our clients in order to exceed expectations. For example, in an initial consult, we knew the groom loved birch. We surprised him on their wedding day with aisle markers in birch container. We really listen to our clients. We take note of the little things. We don't miss details. And we strive to most accurately deliver the vision that is outlined in your proposal.

We Strive to be the Best Vendor Partners

  • This is a non-negotiable for us. When we are on-site, we know every single vendor working that event has the same end goal - executing the wedding our couple dreamed of. We are yes people, we are helpers. It's part of our ethos. We want to make things easier for our vendor and venue partners, and we want them to leave the event thinking how great we were to work with.

  • Here are a few examples. After we completed QA of all of our designs, we recognized we had quite a bit of extra greenery. We asked the wedding planner if there was a place they could use it. Not only that, we had our team place that greenery for them. Another example: typically when we arrive on site if we're working with a planner, we'll ask where we can set up that will not be in their way. We bring our own table so not to take up space on the beautiful tables our client has likely rented. And last, we often proactively reach out to photographers and cake artists to see what their flower needs might be. These are often things that are forgotten about - so we always gather a vase for cakes and flat lays, and clearly label them so those vendors can use them when they are ready.

  • We have a 'leave it cleaner than you found it' motto. Flower installation can by messy. You'll often see us with tarps, brooms and mini rakes on-site. Yes, we even rake up petals from the grass at your ceremony site. We don't want to leave a trail, other than the beautiful floral designs you dreamed of.

  • We are helpers even outside of floral design. At one of our events this season, three members of catering had called out. Our entire floral team filled in and worked catering that night, even though we had arrived on-site ourselves at 8am. Our team worked a 14 hour shift on wedding day, to ensure our couple had a flawless event.

These are just a few of the reasons you should choose us if you're looking for a wedding florist in Stowe, VT or surrounding areas like Burlington, Manchester, Woodstock and more.
