About Jess
 owner & lead designer

At the heart of our Vermont wedding floral design studio is a deep-rooted love for flowers and the joy they bring to life’s most meaningful moments. I have a personal passion for all things that grow out of the ground and have spent years cultivating my own perennial garden and growing cut flowers, Over the last decade, I've been learning firsthand the rhythm of the seasons and the beauty of blooms at every stage. The peonies are so beautiful in spring, but their foliage is also quite lovely come fall. I've grown and handled so many varieties of flowers, tending to them from seed, bulb or tuber - to flower. From focal blooms like roses, peonies, dahlias, ranunculus, anemone, zinnia and hydrangea, to smaller blooms like strawflower, feverfew, cosmos, clematis, scabiosa and delphinium. In my garden we also regularly grow fillers and spike flowers like eucalyptus, veronica, snapdragon, aster, catmint and more. This hands-on experience gives me a unique connection to the flowers I work with—each arrangement is crafted with care, intention, and a deep appreciation for nature’s artistry. The best part about my experience with growing flowers? If there is an in-season flower you have your heart set on, I can plan to grow it for your event. We do also regularly source from local farms and wholesalers in attempt to best support our Vermont economy.

My journey into floral design is closely tied to my background in the wedding industry. My journey in to floral was not necessarily linear. I've always been an entrepreneur, and have worked in weddings through a former business venture of mine, as a baker. While I loved creating beautiful, extravagant cakes, I found myself more drawn to the floral design when delivering to my events, and spent my free time planning an tending to my own gardens. In that venture, I gained a wealth of experience working with couples, planners, and venues to bring wedding visions to life. While this business is just blooming, I've made invaluable connections in the industry which will help to make the execution of your wedding day absolutely flawless. These connections have not only shaped my understanding of the intricacies of weddings but have also built a strong network of trusted professionals that I continue to collaborate with today.

Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, you can feel confident knowing you're working with someone who understands both the beauty of flowers and the flow of a wedding day. I bring a thoughtful, artistic and personalized approach to every project, ensuring your floral designs reflect your story and style. Every proposal I create is entirely custom to the couple; with the ultimiate goal of delivering their vision on the most important day of their lives. Let’s create something unforgettable together.
